10-02-2021: The intellectual property office launches a public consultation on the implementation of the directive in Luxembourg. The consultation deadline is 2 april 2021. The consultation is conduced on the basis of a draft implementation law (Avant-Projet de loi portant transposition de la directive 2019/790 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 17 avril 2019 sur le droit d’auteur et les droits voisins dans le marché unique numérique):

• 29-06-2021: Parliament receives the government proposal and opens procedure.

• 01-04-2021: The implementation of the DSM Directive is approved, by means of changes to the Copyright Act.
